About Dave
Dave has an MSc from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. In 2007 he left his senior position in clonal forestry to become a full-time hunter, fisherman and guide.
Dave has been guiding for 20 years; he is a well known and very experienced hunter and fisherman who takes his hunting and fishing seriously.
Dave runs a Canadian canoe down the local rivers for fishing and bird hunting; he will take you places that rarely see other anglers and hunters. He is also a keen hunter of deer, wild pigs, goats and the many species of bird able to be hunted in New Zealand.
About Mawera
Mawera is the Managing Director of AIMS Limited. She takes care of the management side of our business, takes care of the family and of our customers. She also makes sure that everyone is where they are supposed to be and that there is always something good to eat.
Mawera is an excellent chef, specialising in wild food (if it is not wild, she will not cook it). She is well known for her preserves and sauces and when she’s not keeping the home fires burning, she can be found hunting and fishing too; she casts and shoots pretty well for a girl. Mawera also runs the canoe for hunting in the gamebird season.
